| Deep Fried Cream Cheese Sticks |

| SERVES 2-4 INGREDIENTS: 1 x 250 g LANCEWOOD Superior cream cheese 150 ml breadcrumbs 30 ml sesame seeds salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 2 eggs, lightly beaten 150 ml flour oil for frying DIPPING SAUCE 1 cm piece ginger, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, crushed 30 ml soy sauce 45 ml honey 30 ml lime juice 2 ml sesame oil 1 chilli, chopped |
METHOD: Cut the cream cheese into 2 cm slices and then into fingers. Mix the breadcrumbs, sesame seeds and seasoning together. Dip the fingers into the egg, then the flour, into egg again and then into the breadcrumbs. Heat the oil and fry the fingers on all sides until golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Mix the ingredients for the dipping sauce together and serve with the fingers. Serve with a sprig of coriander and extra lime wedges. |
