Lancewood Mature Cheddar Sauce

Ingredients

30 ml butter
onion(s) , finely grated
230 g LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Plain Cream Cheese
30 ml wholegrain mustard
230 g LANCEWOOD® Mature Cheddar  or
LANCEWOOD® Cheddar , grated
125 ml milk
salt & freshly ground black pepper
Extra milk for thinning if necessary

Method

Heat the butter and fry the onion until soft.  

Add the cream cheese, wholegrain mustard and cheeses and heat through.

Stir in the milk, seasoning to taste and heat through.

Add a bit more milk if the sauce becomes too thick.

Serve warm.
